The Story of Picasso and Newt
Picasso was born with a twisted snout—his face so unique, he looked like a living Picasso painting. He became the original Wonky Dog.
Newt, later nicknamed “Newt the Noseless,” was the victim of horrific human cruelty. Despite the trauma he endured, he survived, healed, and became a joyful, thriving spirit with a huge following of people who adore him.
These dogs didn’t just survive—they flourished. Their journey, from having no hope in an overcrowded shelter to becoming faces of compassion and resilience, inspired something much bigger than just their own happy endings.
Their personalities—quirky, funny, full of love—won over hearts. As more people followed their stories, it became clear that they weren’t just pets... they were symbols. Symbols of perseverance, acceptance, and what it means to be “perfectly imperfect.”
From that love and momentum, Wonky Dogs, was born—built around these extraordinary dogs and their ability to bring light, laughter, and love into people’s lives while giving back to the rescue that saved them.
